This past weekend I was proud to hand championship rings to the team that defied the odds by repeating as LL champs, playing as good and mentally tough softball as I’ve seen in 20 years. Alex Lewey threw an incredible 56 consecutive innings in the playoffs before yielding a run.

So proud of you Maddie!

Team of the game CT Impact 14u Premier. All around hits and effort to get their win over Ocean State Outlaws 20-0. The team racked up a total of 15 hits and every player crossed the plate. #lightwork

I’m fully convinced after watching a lot of MLB recently that in both baseball and softball teaching kids how to run bases is just not a thing anymore. It’s awful.
