Passive ventilation is like sunlight from windows. Classroom clearly has lights to supplement sunlight when windows are open to sufficiently illuminate for reading. Similarly, classroom also needs air purifiers to meet state and federally recognized 5 air changes per hour.

CHALLENGE: What are the least cost, most effective, and operationally best air purifiers to get 5 air changes per hour in a typical classroom with following characteristics? * 6,600-12,000 cubic feet * no HVAC * closed windows Please explain why.

Devabhaktuni "Sri" Srikrishna Also consider standalone room ventilation systems. There's many examples for classrooms that meet bb93 acoustic requirements. This one, for example, delivers up to 260l/s or 936m3/h. I haven't read all the specs, but it recently won a prize cibsejournal.com/technical/targ…

CDC wastewater shows flatline for Covid but SF public health data shows uptick in diagnostic test positivity at 4.9% (last 7 days), latest data exceeding 5%. For comparison, nationally CDC shows 3% test positivity but no upward trend unlike SF. Is there a storm brewing? 🌧️

Just. Wow. As we went over Mexico and the U.S. this morning, I caught this sprite. Sprites are TLEs or Transient Luminous Events, that happen above the clouds and are triggered by intense electrical activity in the thunderstorms below. We have a great view above the clouds, so
