Congrats to Roc Batten on his first win as head coach of JPII Football. The Knights defeated Lakeway Christian 34-27 on the road with a last-minute touchdown by Sam Bowers.

This was just an absurd throw from Isaiah Batten to Sam Bowers. Batten easily went over 300 yards tonight. Bowers had four total touchdowns. JPII may not be far from contention in DII-AA Middle.

Isaiah Batten finishes with 366 passing yards for JPII, just off from the 342 I had him for against FRA. He and Sam Bowers kept the Knights in it until the final whistle. Bowers went for 167 receiving yards with four touchdowns and a two-point conversion.
