Some great Mean/Mode/Median revision by S3 this afternoon. Romi and Zoe requested that I make clear to all our followers that they were the first to complete it! Mia, Ava and Hayley weren’t far behind!

From a different angle! With the new Pope having a degree in mathematics, not only does he understand sin but cos as well…..or am I going off at a tangent! Congratulations to Pope Leo XIV.

Had a wonderful afternoon meeting the P7 class from St Michael's Primary. What an enthusiastic bunch. They were keen to find out about Maths and sports clubs in Saint Stephen's High School. Former St Michael's Primary pupils Brooke and Logan helped out with Bingo, Numeracy Ninjas, and a magic trick….

Last week S2 went on an angles hunt around the school. We drew the angles we saw. Lots of right angles in door corners and windows and some acute angles in the structure of the building. 👏

S3 maths group enjoying a game of multiplication ✖️ bingo. It was tense in that bingo hall!

S2 have been revising Fractions through some games such as snap and Fractions board games!

A great afternoon at St John's Primary discussing all things Maths and ⚽️! Pupils completed Numeracy Ninja and Bingo activities, then had the opportunity to ask questions. There were more questions about football than Maths 😂 Looking forward to seeing you all again next week!

Well done to Conor, Callum and Evan who were the first s2s to complete the multiplying fractions treasure hunt this morning!

Had a brilliant afternoon yesterday with Mrs McDonald & Primary 7/6. Pupils were all very enthusiastic and asked some fantastic qs - my favourite was, ‘what’s the best thing about working in Saint Stephen's High School?’. Looking forward to seeing all the new S1 tomorrow P1
