Dozens of students at the University of Manchester used their graduation today to show solidarity with Gaza and protest the University’s complicity in the ongoing genocide 🇵🇸🇵🇸

‼️ 30 GRADUATES WALK OUT OF LLC graduation this morning in their steadfast support for the Palestinian people whilst The University of Edinburgh struggles to maintain silence and disingenuous cordiality to guise their complicity!

Edinburgh university will never be the same again. Palestine has become the theme of this campus no matter what the administration tries to do to distract from its complicity. This institutions colonial legacy will be confronted at every turn as it has been for the last 10

Trade union solidarity isn't just about strikes, jobs and pay. Right now it is the duty of every trade unionist who can, to get out en masse to stop the far right pogroms.

🇵🇸🖊️WE DECLARE A WEEK OF UPRISING. UoE continues to insist on its shameful complicity as the genocide accelerates. We devote this week to education, galvanisation, and dedication as we mark our recommitment to the Palestinian cause and dedication for divestment.

After more than a year of senior management promoting the narrative that pro-palestine protesters are the dangerous ones and make campus unsafe, a pro-palestine student was attacked with a knife at a protest by a racist. Edinburgh University YOU spurred this on

❗️EMERGENCY PROTEST We CANNOT allow the normalisation of attacks against pro-Palestine students on this campus. Admin still REFUSES to publically acknowledge last weeks attack, let alone take responsibility for security's inaction. 📍 Main Library Friday 4th April 2PM

It has been 3 days since a student was attacked with a knife on campus under security ‘supervision’. Nothing was done and no acknowledgment from Edinburgh University administration. Nobody is safe on this campus. Edinburgh Uni makes this very clear.

We urge everyone to show up to the rally EUJPS are holding on Friday in response to this attack and the university's shocking lack of care for their own students' safety x.com/eu_jps/status/…
