In Apple and Pear class we have been exploring colour mixing. We have used cool colours to make a background for a polar animal picture #stpetersandclifton

Science Day! We enjoyed experimenting and using our senses to describe the changes we observed. We really liked exploring different materials that would be suitable for a superhero cape #science #stpetersandclifton

Yesterday was World Book Day. We had a great time! Our theme was "Read your Way" and children could dress as a character, come in PJ's or wear normal non-uniform clothes - no pressure, no expectations - just reading for enjoyment. #WorldBookDay2024

Upper Foundation Stage had an exciting start to the week, releasing our butterflies! We let them land on our hands and then watched them fly away.

Foundation stage topic this half term is Traditional Tales. This week we have been using resources from around the classroom to build bridges for the troll to live under. Can you guess our story?

Outdoor maths! We have enjoyed taking our maths learning outside in the sunshine this week. We have been comparing length by throwing beanbags as far as we can and then comparing how far away they landed with our friends. #reception #stpetersandcliftonschool
