5RH paid tribute to all the service men and women who gave their lives for us and for our country. We held a minute’s silence and explored some WW1 poetry.

Year 6 have been celebrating that it’s okay to be different by wearing odd socks. We discussed that our differences make us special and we should always show kindness and respect towards each other.❤️🌈💕

Year 5 welcomed Northumbria Police into school this week to talk about the issue of ‘County Lines’. We explored the exploitation of young people and the implications this has on them. We listened and asked lots of questions. Thank you Northumbria Police

Reception is reading ‘The Gingerbread Man’. We are immersing ourselves in the story and the character. We followed a step by step video showing us how to draw him. We then used a tool to make our drawings move! We had so much fun watching them dance and walk on the paper!

What a fabulous day! The sun has been shining(apart from the quick thunder, lightning and down pour at lunchtime!). We have enjoyed many lovely activities and a walk in the surrounding area. We are all ready for bed, especially the staff 😂 Here’s hoping for a quiet night! 💕

Well what a great night! Everyone slept well and were up by 7.30am, having breakfast, packing and even stripping their beds! They are such a great group of children. We have really enjoyed spending time with them. 😄See you all later.
