We are excited to share our Snapshot for the 8th UNGRSW taken at the Banda Close intersection along Jinja Road showing no safe pedestrian facilities and traffic calming measures in place although the road was recently resurfaced by Ministry of Works & Transport

On a street used by more than 2,500 pedestrians during peak hours, not having safe infrastructure for them is unacceptable. 👏 Safe Transport Uganda for showing the reality of people's daily journeys. It is time to change that reality.

Stakeholders, this is Jinja road at an off junction at a banda, route to Kyambogo University. Plenty of students use it however it's a high risk for pedestrians crossing, a zebra crossing and pedestrian walk way is highly needed. Please Ministry of Works & Transport your intervention is needed.

The humps in Najjera are just ridiculous! WTF!? Allan Ssempebwa Kyobe, Chart. PR, can't y'all reduce these things a bit? cc Ministry of Works & Transport
