This week there is a mixture of happiness and sadness in the school, as Mrs Burns, after nearly 30 years in St Catherine's, is retiring on Friday. We are happy for Mrs Burns and her family and wish her all the best for a long and happy retirement.

We are visiting Fordbank Primary School today for the last of our Christmas BSL sessions. We will be teaching basic BSL and deaf awareness along with as many festive signs and phrases as we can fit in. #bsl #britishsignlanguage #christmas #festivetour

Dates for your diary. Our Reading Cafes will be starting up again in the new year. They will run every Wednesday from 15 Jan, for 7 weeks, with the final session being 26 Feb. They will start straight after school at 3pm. Come & support your child to love reading. 📚😍📓😍📚

Rite of Commitment Mass, 11am Sunday 9th March Children making their First Holy Communion, are invited to St Mirin’s Cathedral at 11am to take part in their Rite of Commitment Mass, in preparation for the celebration of First Holy Communion in April 2025.
