Short answer -- yes. Long answer -- we were safer, stronger, and more secure. Our commitment to developing policy through democratic means solid, and we were true to the rule-of-law. We are living now in a rapidly evolving autocracy.

Question -- what is the Consitutional source of Presidential power to decree or mandate what is the official language of the U.S. Is this a law he has the authority to pass?

Don't have to agree with Bernie Sanders. But Steady State members, who have spent careers watching dictators and autocrats, know that stifling criticism is what they do. Because they have to. Bernie is spot on here

Terribly sorry to do this (always seems like a stunt), but received email notice our account was suspended. But it seems to be here. Would appreciate acknowledgment of receipt. Thanks

Steady State (within our lane, which is National Security), feels the same -- lots of room to disagree, but we need to agree that Constitution, rule-of-law democracy is the framework.

Steady State members know this to be true. Cutting State/USAID is better seen as "cutting National Security." The national security departments and agencies are designed to work as a whole.... William H. McRaven: wapo.st/4luTj6y
