A selection of photos taken of our final official duty in Lourdes, welcoming pilgrims to our closing Friday Mass. Centred on the theme of Hope - the root of this year’s Jubilee - we greeted everyone with a display of bubbles and inspirational quotes. Thank you RC Birmingham.

How special it was to join with 🧡 Abbey Catholic School 🧡 SS Peter & Paul B24 SS. Mary and John's Catholic Primary School 🧡St Gerard's Catholic Primary School🧡 and Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School for a magnificent Corpus Christi procession! Together, we sang our unending thanks and praise to the Lord, for the greatest gift of all: His most precious Body and Blood!

Today's Y9 retreat continued some of the conversations that started during Refugee Week 🧡. Why should we care about the lives of those we've never met? Because we are all one body through Christ. "If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts suffer with it," (1 Cor 12:26)

Our special Y9 retreat day culminated in the celebration of Mass Erdington Abbey. Father Kieran reminded all pupils that we belong to each other: one Body, one Church, one family. He asked us to reach out to the estranged within our own school, with a smile or a simple 'hello'.

Today, I was sad to pack away our poetry and art exhibition at St. Barnabas Church Hall. Over the last two weeks, the pupils' work has made an astounding impact on visitors to the hall, with many asking to photocopy the poems! Now, we look forward to next year! St John Paul II Multi Academy

Yesterday, we were thrilled to be able to welcome so many fresh new faces to St Edmund Campion Catholic School as part of our Year 6 Induction Day! Mr Grant, Mr Sorroll and our student chaplains led the new Campionites in a moment of prayer and reflection.

Less than a month ago, a wonderful group of Y9 pupils returned home from a spectacular retreat at Soli House in Staffordshire. Since then, they haven't stopped talking about their many many highlights! Some of them are here... youtu.be/8gb_mbN5O7E?si… Thank you Kenelm Youth Trust!

On Monday, our student chaplains had a wonderful time St Chad's Sanctuary 🧡, touring the building and learning more about the phenomenal work that takes place here, showing love and compassion to some of those most in need! Our pupils left feeling enlightened and inspired!
