Y8 are still struggling with compound area, especially with subtraction. Today I made them write a plan without numbers before they were allowed to do any calculations. It worked pretty well - I need to do this sort of thing more often.

You might have played Cards Against Humanity but what about ‘Cards Against Teaching’! I’ve made this game for our end of term staff meeting with over 120 cards, but it would also make the perfect inset day icebreaker for staff. Excited to play it with staff now!
