The OIG found the EPA ignored over 100 studies showing cancer risk for a commonly used crop soil fumigant (1,3-D) and downgraded its cancer risk. Apparently the EPA did not adhere to standard operating procedures and requirements in doing its assessment. epa.gov/office-inspect…
