Today our K-2 team, led by APCI Hannah Bullivant and K-2 AP Danni Peterson, dove into Explicit Teaching of Mathematics. Teachers developed deep pedagogical content knowledge and honed in on LISC, Checking for understanding, and Effective questioning.

Celebrated World Teacher’s Day with the amazing Cindy Valdez Cindy Valdez & the exec team at John Purchase PS ! Our focus was explicit vocabulary instruction. My biggest takeaway: EAL/D learners need to see THEMSELVES in our classrooms, including the books we read! Thanks Cindy! ✨

Such a rewarding day! 🎉 Rounds of Impact gathered 21 public schools across 6 networks, celebrating the inspiring work happening through #instructionalrounds. The energy was MAGICAL as schools shared artefacts showing real changes in student learning & teaching.✨
