Good homemade soup is extremely under-rated and Albury Netball Association has smashed it out of the park with this pea & ham. Large pot, great flavour, bread roll included for $5. Strong end to the week. #canteenreview David Sinclair Trent Ball Gus MacLeod Blake Escott

Look at the size of those croutons! Netball Wodonga are really going the extra mile at Association Championships. Why would you say 'no' to an add-on like that with an already strong pumpkin soup? #canteenreview David Sinclair Jamie Ramage Gus MacLeod Trent Ball

All class at Wodonga Raiders, where the $6 coffee and scone deal is pulling in plenty of trade. Great to see a club thinking outside the box. #canteenreview David Sinclair Trent Ball Gus MacLeod Jamie Ramage Blake Escott

North Albury winning on + off the field today. On a cold, wet and windy afternoon at Bunton Park, this pot of pumpkin & bacon soup was just what the doctor ordered. $6.50 with a buttered bread roll included. #canteenreview David Sinclair Trent Ball Gus MacLeod Blake Escott Julie

I've watched sport my whole life, hundreds if not thousands of games, but never witnessed emotion on the level we saw today after Corowa Rutherglen Roos FNC won their first game since going into recess and fighting back. The hard work and belief of so many vindicated in this moment. Spine-tingling.

Two years ago, North Albury picked up the wooden spoon. Three years ago, they didn't even win a game. Tonight, they are one game away from the Ovens & Murray FNL grand final.

Birallee Park looking picture perfect ahead of the Ovens & Murray FNL preliminary final.

Without Steve Owen's stoicism there would be no Corowa Rutherglen Roos FNC handover to Daryn Cresswell today. A poisoned chalice when he took over, soon after it seemed the Impossible Job. Would have been easy to walk away but he kept fronting up. Deserves to see the fruit of his labours 👏

Back on the road with the Ovens & Murray FNL crew. Hosted tonight by Wangaratta RoversFNC ahead of their (double) flag unfurling in the season opener. Large serve of pasta, grated carrot in the mix, thick slice of bread - and parmesan offered but not taken in my case. Solid start. 7/10

They've got a lot on their plate at North AlburyFNC... literally. Schnitzel, pasta bake, chips, gravy and salad - served up by O&M legend Paula Cary no less. Absolutely sensational. 9/10 David Sinclair Blake Escott Gus MacLeod Trent Ball

You can almost taste the anticipation at Corowa Rutherglen Roos FNC. Roos expecting a crowd of 3000 when Wodonga Raiders come to town on Easter Saturday. Amazing to see the rejuvenation of their flood-damaged clubrooms. Great energy among players, officials and supporters.

Easter Saturday at Corowa Rutherglen Roos FNC with a Docs coffee in hand... where would you rather be? Massive weekend of Ovens & Murray FNL action continues with Roos v Raiders on a glorious autumn day. David Sinclair Gus MacLeod Blake Escott

Easter eggs < the Myrtleford Alpine Saints box meal. Chicken schnitzel roll with coleslaw and gravy plus chunky chips. A new clubhouse leader for season 2025. #canteenreview David Sinclair Gus MacLeod Blake Escott Trent Ball

This is going to be hard to beat. Thursday night roast beef served up by MFNC Alpine Saints. Roasties, sweet potato, peas and proper gravy. Takes me back to the Toby Carvery in Gravesend Charles Webster. Love coming to Myrtleford, always worth the drive. David Sinclair
