Today we hosted a roundtable at UK Parliament on the barriers young people with cancer face accessing clinical trials, chaired by Stephen Yemm MP MP and our Chief Nurse Louise Soanes Louise Soanes đź’™.

Yesterday was a powerful day. Young people, MPs and our founders joined us at Westminster as we handed the Department of Health and Social Care (Department of Health and Social Care) our open letter calling for young people’s voices to be included in the National Cancer Plan.

Stephen Yemm MP , Member of Parliament for Mansfield, called upon the government to recognise mission critical neighbourhoods in the upcoming Spending Review: “The Spending Review must make mission critical neighbourhoods an absolute priority.”

Very welcome contribution from Stephen Yemm MP to the debate, who talks about the significant correspondence he received on farmer animal welfare issues and the need to address crates and cages. Ends by urging the Government to address this in their animal welfare strategy.
