Learned so much from our nursing colleagues in Cardiff and Swansea on how they support asylum seekers and really realised the importance of building links with services across the UK, with information sharing services will continue to improve and develop.

Nice evening to be representing the homeless and asylum service at the Scottish health awards for the people’s choice awards and winning it, it was a tough group so to win was amazing thanks to everyone who voted for the team

Had a lovely meeting with the Newport health inclusion team who support asylum seekers. This networking provides services for asylum seekers to develop and possibly enhance their services with evidence based knowledge from different teams across the nation.

It was nice today taking a short break from management duties to spend time with a patient completing our health assessment and discussing what support is available for them in Glasgow.
