Last week, Emeritus Professor of Mathematics UCC Ireland Des MacHale, past student of St. Gerald's DLS College, visited his hometown of Castlebar. Our Minor A basketball team made the trip to the UL sports arena this weekend for the All - Ireland play - offs. The side progressed to the Shield final but were defeated by Dunshaughlin Community College by a singular point. Well done to all involved. 🏀

The inaugural Golf Ireland Connaught 16-19 yrs Boys 9-Hole S/ford was held today Ballinrobe Golf Club with 51 golfers taking part. SGC had 10 students competing with 4 students placing in the Top 10! HUGE Congratulations to Paddy Hope who came 1st & Fiachra Donaldson who came 2nd!
