Consider this a light-hearted question as a break from the world's many ills. I have noticed that the Stanley Cup drinking cups look quite a lot like the Stanley Cup trophy if it were upside down, shape-wise. Does anyone know if this is deliberate?

Apropos of nothing in particular (ok, something, but not going to get into it here - I observed it & wasn't involved myself), rifts in the artistic world can feel particularly bitter, sad & uncomfortable, & tend to give me a sense of relief that I typically hover on the fringes.
