It’s a wrap on the first 6 months of the new lab! We celebrated our recent Cancer Research paper, Cancer Research Foundation award, and the start of the lab’s first UChicago Committee on Cancer Biology rotation student Marta Storl-Desmond - good times!

New paper on model system our team designed to study how metabolic stress affects the biology of pancreatic tumors: elifesciences.org/articles/81289. A thread. TLDR: We learned if you grow your cells with the nutrients they would see IRL, they will start behaving like they do IRL.
