As I recover from COVID what I didn't plan for is wine. Serious oversight.

Important things I have learned from having COVID. 1. I am thankful for the healthcare ecosystem, especially fundamental research for the ability to be vaccinated. 2. My toilet paper consumption was not changed. 3. Friends and family caring is a big deal.

I am struggling with being asked to peer review articles. It is one thing when it is for the public good but when I am asked to hand over copyright in perpuity and pay 1000s of $ fir the privilege to publishers I say no. By agreeing to participate I perpetuate exploitation.
