Jackmaster was the entry point to a whole generation of DJs who weren’t satisfied sitting within the lines of genre. He was a real scholar of music who could play anything and not just make it seem natural, but completely mind blowing. One of the greatest of our time.

some are cool, but most record labels are glorified predatory lenders. that will not change unless people stop taking shit deals. so, we really need better education on that. but the reality is that most people should plan for a career outside of music while they pursue music.
