A fantastic innovation for frequent travelers is the eSIM, setup in minutes and keep other line active. E.g. 32GBP for 10 days of unlimited data (and I abused this like crazy) in Canada is really convenient and gives great peace of mind, roaming would be 70GBP and limited.

Trains in the UK are the worst way to travel. Over crowded, no space for luggage. And to top it off crazy high prices. I refuse the cost of a flight to the US for first class so that I don’t have my bag on my lap and can actually work. nationalrail, do better, help reduce CO2.
