Restore and Connect gathering was a great reminder of the need to share and learn from each other. So grateful to the Southwest FSA putting on this event. Grateful to share experiences about food and the #CostOfLiving challenges in outdoor practice. Sunny Elvy Forest School Association

Like Riding a Bike? Bike riding seems associated with ideas of childhood but not all kids have bikes. We meet kids at secondary school who can't ride yet. But we live in a new 'cycling town'! So we are trying to address this with the help of The Cornwall Bicycle Project Stu Watson

Is DEI work now (acceptably) a trading opportunity? Who has accepted this? Why are we accepting it? Lots of questions today 🌊😮‍💨

I get asked to work for free an awful lot. At it's worst, I get to asked to work both for free and anonymously, contributing hard earned expertise. I used to do it quite a bit, but I realized I'm not only doing myself a disservice but also the other autistic people around me.

Three things a Neu_DICE Exec Assistant can do: * Virtual accountability buddy to help you stay focused * Act as a 'human duck' (a sounding board to help you organise your thinking, plan tasks and problem-solve) * Run a dopamine-hit 'sprint' session for tasks you keep putting off

Are neurotypical people good at “reading” autistic minds? The autistic people in my focus groups say they are not. Many people at #IPrA2023 had never heard of Double Empathy. It’s been more than 10 years since Damian Milton first published about it. Time to check it, linguists!

We witness CYP frequently intimidated & verbally abused for play in their own community. Our job it turns out is advocating for them being outdoors, finding places where they can be free & express themselves to avoid the common misjudgement that their play is anti social behaviour
