Thanks Sue Sentance etc al 😀 Some useful ideas on how GenAI can support teachers and students - I particularly like this idea of how teachers could introduce GenAI in a secondary enrichment session 💡

Jane Waite questions whether Legitimate Code Theory or Feedback Literacy can help educators and learners incorporate generative AI into teaching and learning Really enjoyed the keynote at #UKICER The University of Manchester

Who doesn't love a bit of PRIMM! ❤️❤️❤️ Sue Sentance

Children in year 8 are making Micro:bit Educational Foundation Pacman today 🎮🕹️😃 I make use of Sue Sentance PRIMM pedagogy when teaching using these worksheets. Children predict what the code will do and then investigate and run it. They then make the games their own! Download worksheet pdf here

Calling primary school teachers! Take part in our short micro:bit class activity and surveys. More info here: computingeducationresearch.org/video-epics-re… Chance to win a Waterstones voucher and computing-related books for taking part. Watch my video below which talks you through the activity:

We’ve published our 2023-4 #rpcerc Annual Report - read about what we’ve been up to over the last year here: computingeducationresearch.org/blog-annual-re…. Thanks to everyone who has worked on this, and all the teachers, schools, other colleagues who have helped us along the way - we appreciate you!

We have a new tool to enable secondary students learning Python to use a more reflective process when debugging programs that don't run or don't work as intended. It's called PRIMMDebug and you can find out how to get involved in the testing here: computingeducationresearch.org/blog-introduci…
