As a foreigner, I pay tax but cannot vote (even local). Some non-European foreigners can vote in Scotland or Wales, BUT not in England. GOV.UK gov.uk/register-to-vo…. Europeans can vote even after #Brexit. Do you know why dear Daniel Zeichner @lucyfrazermp?

Very happy to see this one finally out. Has been a great collaboration with Sungsam Gong and Steve Charnock-Jones from Cambridge University. We actually found some coding #circRNAs! nature.com/articles/s4146…

Want this copy, but I wondered this could reach more widely to members of public for their benefit, such that we do not pay for reading (online) research articles under #openaccess publication scheme. Borrowing ebooks from local libraries? Or what about bookdown.org

Assuming that: 1) won 1M+ research funding from either gov (taxpayers money) or a charity, 2) published multiple papers, 3) 1+ patents related with 2), 4) made a company (I'm CEO/CSO/CTO or whatever), 5) funding from angels, and finally I become rich. Anything wrong with me?

Recently been asked for a review in 10 days by Scientific Reports. Am I eligible for being paid by pay-for-expedited peer-review if that was the case? My January credit is not usually good after Christmas ;)

Wow, 3 years since my last post. But a good reason for this: nature.com/articles/s4146… My key takehome: Occam’s Razor still holds in machine learning - the simplest explanation for a phenomenon is usually the best one.
