P6D have been exploring line drawing. These are made using a continuous line as the artist cannot take the pen away from the page. This encourages focus and attention to detail

P1S have loved meeting and getting to know Eagle Eye this week. He helps us with our reading by looking carefully at the pictures to help us figure out what is happening and even work out what words say! We decided to build him a home from pictures so he would stay 🦅 📚 📖

P1S loved exploring their Book Bug Bags this week. we loved learning about sea creatures using ’My First Book of Sea Creatures’. We picked and drew our favourite and wrote facts about them using the sounds we have learned to build words or add letter labels

P3O have been busy making these festive keyrings to sell at our Christmas Fayre on Wednesday. We have been learning how to sew over the last few weeks so decided to make something to show how good we are at it!

Just a heads up! P6D have been working hard on making these beautiful bookmarks-perfect gifts for Christmas and available at the Christmas Fayre!

P1S have loved meeting Eagle Eye’s best friend, Lips the Fish. They work together to read words. Lips the Fish looks at the first letter of sounds and Eagle Eye looks at the pictures. We made her a tank full of words to make her feel at home 🐠 🦅📚

P6D enjoyed an afternoon session playing Board Games, developing their literacy, numeracy and social skills through a range of games including; Scrabble, Monopoly and playing cards
