Farm Produce students have been processing our medlar fruits to make a delicious medlar jelly today! There are lots more fruits on sale in the farm shop if you want to try making your own at home, or come along to our Christmas Fair on 7th December to purchase some of our jars!

We’re an accredited training centre able to recognise participants’ practical skills & knowledge through the AQA Unit Award Scheme. This week some of our New Leaf students demonstrated their food growing knowledge, by labelling the parts of a tomato plant.

Our youth clubs enjoyed a sunny day on the Farm on Sunday. The morning group mucked out the sheep, led the donkeys and pony, plus some of the group made a fire and lit it using King Alfred Cakes we’d foraged from the Farm.

We’re open all year round every day, only closing on 24th, 25th & 26th December. Livestock team will still be on site to care for the animals and we’ll keep the Thames path open for walkers. Call in and see us for last minute present shopping, fresh air and friendly animals!

Farm Produce were back cooking last week. The students were excited to use this new food mixer that was kindly donated! They made these delicious bread rolls to take home.

The children had an amazing time petting and feeding the farm animals. One of them said, "I am going to come back with my parents and adopt a sheep." Surrey Docks Farm

Today 3M went to Surrey Docks Farm We learnt how to make butter and we also fed some of the animals. "It tickles when it licks me!" Some of us even got to try some goats cheese, "I don't like it!" "It's fantastic, I want my mum to buy some!"
