I bet if the feds prosecuted some state officials for negligence for allowing this fraud to happen we could get some action from the state.

The idea that less than 600 votes were cast in a room w/several hundred more delegates (not even including alternates). The Minneapolis DFL knows their system screwed up -- they're ditching it to do paper ballots -- but is moving forward anyway. It's not hard to figure out why.

šŸ—³ļø Take: I've seen some poorly run conventions, but the Minneapolis DFL convention might take the crown. Many delegates couldn't vote or their votes weren't counted on the first ballot, resulting in a total breakdown that undermined the democratic process.

Anyone that can not admit how deeply flawed the voting process was at the Minneapolis DFL Convention is 100% acting in bad faith. As a first time delegate, I had multiple conversations with other first timers and they all said they would never participate in a convention again.

"If Democrats are serious about rebuilding trust—....—they must move beyond optics. Staged photo ops and ā€œFarmer Timā€ costumes won’t cut it. What’s needed is a sober acknowledgment of the growing threat posed by organized crime networks" ~ Terry White open.substack.com/pub/betterminn…

"This is not just a policy problem. It’s a credibility problem. Failing to protect vital programs from exploitation weakens public trust, damages the very people those programs are designed to help, and erodes the DFL’s claim to govern with competence and common sense" ~ T White
