The mayor continues to refuse to take a question from me after multiple reporters cede their questions to me. He claimed last week he would have security block me from getting into his weekly off topic briefings. I am in the room though.

Mayor Adams might have let our senior City Hall reporter Chris Sommerfeldt in the room today — a week after banning him for asking a question — but he doubled down on and refused to call on Chris. This even after two other reporters yielded their time to Chris.

Much respect to katie honan at The City, and the Daily News' own Josie Stratman, who yielded their time — gave up their questions — so that Chris could keep trying to do his job.
