Students from the School of Social Work and Social Policy travelled to Münster Germany with Associate Professor Susan Flynn and Ms Rose Doolan Maher to take part in a week of lectures and workshops from subject experts and experts by experience on disability and child welfare!

A historic city tour of Münster and dining out were among activities to help with soaking up German culture and atmosphere. Students from four Universities across Ireland, Austria and Germany came together to learn together at the Disability and Child Welfare Summer School.

Disability and Child Welfare Summer School is a success! As one student commented, “a SUPERBLY done academic program... I believe this has created lasting friendships across countries!... If I had to rate the opportunity on a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 20 out of 10”
