❄️It's here!! 🤩 Our work on pathways that drive distinct skin TRM is out today in Science Magazine!!! This is more than 'just a paper' - it was the opportunity to work with great scientists around the world & ofc, with bestie Simone Park 🥰 Huge thanks to all #TeamTrm Mackay Lab ✨
As the saying goes, friends that scRNAseq together, stay together 😂😂 this really was an amazing project to work on and I'm so grateful it was with you Simone Park !! what a fun ride 🎢
We 💜chatting science! Today @ 11am tune in to Dr Shane Huntington OAM on Einstein A Go Go 3rrrfm to hear about TRM cells!
Great chat with Simone Park! Listen here to learn more about the study, and the "what's next?" with the work! 🥳
Delighted to share my first senior author paper published in ICB - the journal with hlhorsnell and Scott Mueller that describes a role for the TF SpiB in lymph node fibroblastic reticular cells and CD8 T cell responses doi.org/10.1111/imcb.1… Doherty Institute
Killer T cell targets for understudied #influenzaB viruses are in short supply. Our study in Nature Communications describes new targets & how responses change across human life & tissues – a🧵⬇ nature.com/articles/s4146… @Tejas_the_Tcell Carolien van de Sandt Katherine Kedzierska Doherty Institute (1/15)
VERY grateful for the opportunity to continue our exciting work on Trm! Congrats to all around Australia and Doherty, and a special thank you to Mackay Lab 🥰
Did you know that the concept of tissue-resident lymphocytes was suggested 20 years ago? Look how far Trm have come!! 🤩 Read all about these bold and beautiful cells in our latest Annual Reviews review 📖🌟
Sharing our latest work Journal of Experimental Medicine! We've uncovered that P2RX7 regulates unconventional T cells selectively, particularly subsets that co-produce IFN-γ & IL-4. Hoping this helps more discoveries in the role of these innate-like cells, using inhibitors from the P2RX7/ARTC2 field!
