We must call on our leaders and city agencies to uphold New York City's sanctuary laws and the U.S. Constitution, especially as we continue to witness violations of due process and civil rights of New Yorkers, regardless of immigration status.

I encourage all New Yorkers of all backgrounds to join us and stand in solidarity for those whose rights have been deprived—advocates, citizens, and new New Yorkers alike. We look forward to fighting Trump's actions on Wednesday as an urgent and united action.
