Today a student said my class was a ~haven for in-depth emotional and analytical conversations~. I had a pizza party for my editors. I picked these big leaves. The semester is (finally) almost over (thank god).

Did a class visit recently for Dear Diaspora and a student said my book opened up dialogue bw them and their family abt diaspora and immigration and as a writer, this feels like a blessing ✨

This has been the hardest secret to keep. My debut full-length poetry collection MAYBE THE BODY is forthcoming from Tin House in 2026! So, so thankful to Alyssa for believing in my work, and to all the friends and mentors who have cheered me on!
