At #HNPNW2025, GEOGLAM's sven gilliams & Esther Makabe spoke about how digital tools are reshaping early warnings for food security. In Kenya, early warnings enabled the government to act swiftly, subsidising maize, allowing duty-free imports & launching targeted pest control.
