The countdown to #DromoreBookFestival continues! Meet Sharon Dempsey, the writer behind Who Took Eden Mulligan? and The Midnight Killing. If you love dark, atmospheric mysteries, you won’t want to miss her! Sharon's new book, After The Party, is out now. ticketsource.co.uk/bridge-books

‘Complex, courageous and hard-hitting, After the Party is genuinely unsettling, in the way all serious crime fiction should aspire to be.’ Thank you Declan Burke and Martin Doyle for this brill review. irishtimes.com/culture/books/…

‘Nuanced and expertly structured, (After the Party) explores difficult issues with sensitivity and huge skill. A brilliant piece of work, a thoughtful and complex crime novel, and undoubtedly Dempsey’s finest to date.’ From the great Brian McGilloway. 🥰

The best book post arrived in time for the weekend. Looking forward to this one from Kelly Creighton thriller writer so much.

At the hairdressers and I’m so immersed in Shelia and Sean’s life. Can’t wait to see how Daly’s character develops. Fantastic writing from Kelly Creighton thriller writer. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Listen up! New #Bookcited episode chatting to Sharon Dempsey #AfterThePaŕty Libraries NI

I had great fun chatting about my new book and my writing influences with Just Jillian and Peter Hughes. And libraries are places of pure magic so I’m delighted to be supporting Libraries NI.

Thanks to the lovely Sharon Dempsey for this! You can catch Sharon along with Liz Nugent and Hannah King in Dromore Cathedral on Monday, 5th May! Sharon will also be in the audience for Brian McGilloway & Stuart Neville #BloodLikeMine and Claire Allan & Emma Heatherington. ticketsource.co.uk/bridge-books

Day 1 of #DromoreBookFestival was a resounding success despite my nerves! A writing workshop with Bernie McGill and an evening of conversation with three Crime Queens. Tonight, we have the amazing Donal Ryan! Check out what else is in store this week 👇 ticketsource.co.uk/bridge-books

I remember going to the launch of a report by Women's Aid NI last year, featuring this map. I remember being struck by the number of dots over my home county, Antrim. I remember hearing about the murders of many of these women over the years. I don’t remember rioting. 1/

Delighted to receive a copy of S.D.W. Hamilton’s latest book. Looks like a great read! 📚
