Sharing some more pictures of the beautiful Green-thighed #Frog from earlier in the week. It might be years before I see these beautiful frogs breeding again. #WildOz #FrogID

Around this time last year I was in Darwin photographing what's now known as Litoria spaldingi (Eastern Crazy Chicken Frog / Spalding's Frog) calling. This year I'm a bit colder out in the rain on the east coast, wishing to be back in the tropics. #Frog #WildOz #newspecies

Today I found this #native #bee sleeping in an #orchid flower. I will be taking votes on whether this is 10/10 adorable or greater. #wildoz

Today in Zootaxa we describe a frog Assa wollumbin after the Bundjalung name for its mountain home. The tweed caldera is thought to have erroded over ~23 million years eventually isolating this species. doi.org/10.11646/zoota… #NewSpecies #Zootaxa #WildOz Zootaxa updates

A Red-eyed Tree #Frog out calling after recent #rain. I find it funny the purr at the start is supposedly a territorial component of their call, yet so cute 😅😁 #WildOz #FrogID
