Our new publication, Vista, in Association for Computing Machinery TOSN, shows how we can instead use existing ground infrastructure to bootstrap the connectivity bottleneck!

In an event-packed week, my PhD student Veronica Muriga (co-advised with Akshitha & Assane) presented our work at ACM HotNets 2024 that calls for an ARPANET-esque small satellite Internet service built by disparate universities & small firms globally to bridge the digital divide

And to wrap up the week, it was special to receive the 2024 ACM SIGMOBILE Rockstar Award (and the famous rockstar hat!), plus give a keynote at MobiCom'24 on the exciting path ahead for wireless systems research. Immensely grateful to everyone who made this award possible!

It was a pleasure to present the opening keynote address at IEEE PerCom 2025 in Washington DC. In my talk "Exploring new frontiers for pervasive wireless", I presented our lab's exciting work in wireless sensing and actuation. A truly fun time for pervasive computing!
