Working on the Intensive Care wards across the former City and Sandwell Hospital sites, Becky and John, share a snippet of their journey within the department over the years - as the final transfers of their patients were carried out from City to the Midland Met this morning.

As we say goodbye to City Hospital we take a look at some of earliest photographs taken around the site - dating back to the 1940s. There's even a Royal visit! We've also captured pictures of what some of those areas look like today.
