Ended N&H Week with lunch club this afternoon. Supporting patients prepare AND modify their meals to meet their dysphagia needs. I have learnt lots and loved combining SLT, Occupational Therapy, Physio, Nutrition and Dietetics this week. Happy Friday 💛 SLT SWB SWBOT-Stroke/Neuro

The person who makes you smarter isn't always the smartest one in the room. Often it's the most curious one in the room. "Why do we do that?" leads you to question old assumptions. "What if?" opens your eyes to new possibilities. Inquisitive people are catalysts for learning.

Know the why behind your goals and interventions If a patient asked why they need “standing tolerance” Associate it with standing while showering or cooking etc.. Attach to function If the patient doesn't do anything in standing too long; you may want to revise the goal
