This swift lost its nesting cavity due to construction work. It doesn’t understand and keeps coming back, still looking, brushing against the wall, trying to cling to it. This behavior usually lasts about ten days 1/2

Swifts always return to the same nest each year. If their nests are blocked, they may not be able to breed. This can lead to a decline in their numbers. It’s important to protect their nests when working on roofs to help them survive and breed. 2/2
