I played a few ranked games over the last few days after not playing for a while - it was probably the worst experience I’ve had since beta. Outside of pro play, the game feels like it’s in an incredibly stale state, so I’m not surprised Riot is looking to shake things up. In

these changes are honestly just killing ranked even more 😊players were already instalock "non util" agents + had almost 0 knowledge about utility. now we're expecting them to LITERALLY MASTER utility usage, to find any value out of it ??? some of the changes has literally 0

None of the balance changes are too egregious, maybe a little unwarranted but the game will adapt. My main fear is that the “nonchalance” playstyle will become even more prevalent, where nobody cares about using util because it’s not as impactful. Just go Reyna and swing.

i know people don’t like change but these new valorant changes are actually great for the game especially long term, rebalancing and redistributing the power of agent's kits, standardisation of stuns and flashes, making spray patterns more consistent, i'm actually very excited
