The U12 Sports Hall Athletics Team have had a brilliant day! After competing all afternoon in both field and track events CSWSchoolgames the team finished 3rd overall! Well done everyone! #SGGSsport

South Warwickshire Schools were well represented today at the CSWSchoolgames! Alcester Grammar Physical Education took GOLD in the Y8 Girls & Y8 Boys! Stratford School PE took SILVER in the Y7 Boys! And SGGS - Stratford Girls' Grammar School took BRONZE in the Y7 Girls! It's fair to say that these four teams did South Warwickshire proud!!

Our year 7 boys sportshall athletics team absolutely smashed it today placing 2nd by just 1 point! At the Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire finals🥈 We are very proud of the lads! An amazing achievement for South Warwickshire team where all 4 schools took home medals 🥉🥇🥇

Thursday… The Yr 8 boys thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to play in the SW 🎾 Slams at Henley 🎾 Club. It was great to see them progress during the morning and use their knowledge to officiate others. Thank you to Southern Warwickshire School Games

Year 7 Super 6 Athletics results are in! 💨 👟 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ Well done to all who gained school selection for this event. Our boys team achieved a 4th place finish and our girls went close by finishing 🥉 with only 7 points separating AA, AGS and Stratford at the top of the table!

Monday… Saw the final Super 6 Athletics of the season for Yr 7. For many of the students it was their first experience of competitive Athletics. They stepped up to the challenge and achieved some good positions. Well done Shipston, team work makes the dream work. 👍🎽
