The Splash Pad will have a delayed opening on July 2, 2022, due to the Let Freedom Ring parade. The Splash Pad will open at 12 P.M., weather permitting.

New trash and recycling cans! Starting Monday, July 11, every house served by the Town of Sykesville Public Works trash and recycling service will be receiving a new trash can and recycle can. If you have questions, please contact the Town at 410-795-8959 or [email protected]

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for areas along and east of I-81 through 10 PM tonight. Main impacts will be damaging winds. A localized flood threat exists as well with rainfall rates of 1-2"/hr possible in any stronger thunderstorms over a short period of time.

🚨Last weekend for the Splash Pad!🚨 The Splash Pad will be closed for the season starting September 6. We are planning to reopen the Splash Pad in May 2023.

CSX will be performing maintenance on the railroad track beginning 12/7 through 12/9. Due to this work, Main Street will be closed at the railroad crossing from 7 AM to 4 PM on Wednesday (12/7), Thursday (12/8), and Friday (12/9).
