INCREDIBLY INSPIRED after the Modulation of Neural Circuits and Behavior GRC where I was in awe of the scope and scale of the science being done by such a great group of people! Feeling invigorated and happy to have built so many new connections!

We had such a blast collaborating to make new tools to wirelessly control and record from gut and brain. Check out the paper in Nature Biotechnology: nature.com/articles/s4158β¦ Atharva Sahasrabudhe Sirma Orguc Bioelectronics @ MIT The BohΓ³rquez Lab

Microglia plays a critical role in the degeneration of synapses in Huntington's disease! Led by Daniel Wilton in the beth stevens ! This was a remarkable study to be a part of and I can't wait to see the next steps and potential for therapeutic intervention ππππ

One of the best parts of watching these NCAA basketball games is getting to listen to Chiney Ogwumike & Andraya Carter break it all down!!! ESPN better be putting them on a whole lot more games!

Got together with Kevin Mastro π³οΈβπ & Michael Ryan from the Simons Collab on Plasticity and the Aging Brain to discuss #healthyaging. We take a multi-level approach to understand how brains age in the absence of disease. In this sense, aging can be an example of active remodeling rather than degeneration.

Had such a great time seeing Anne Churchland and Michael Ryan !! So many great discussions with the Churchland lab and many others from UCLA!

Excited to share our recent work in @cellcellpress: Microglial-derived C1q integrates into neuronal ribonucleoprotein complexes and impacts protein homeostasis in the aging brain: Cell cell.com/cell/fulltext/β¦ beth stevens 1/n

I remember the day that Nicole Scott-Hewitt made her initial discovery, it was clear that it would lead to a great impact! She absolutely nailed it and I am excited for the world to see all her hard work!

1000%, this was the hands down the best session. Thanks to the tiniest doomwook for your work and energy!
