When you fail to fully develop and ultimately end up losing an asset like Rashford, yes - it’s the club’s failure. Not necessarily the club’s fault, or not exclusively the club’s fault, but definitely the club’s failure. A lot of people seem to struggle with this notion,

Spending the entire pre-sale transfer budget on two forwards seemed like a dubious idea; not being able to actually do so for more than a month is downright concerning.

Isak, Ekitike, Elanga & Gordon would be such a wild, raw and dynamic attack, that you can basically smell the gasoline and see 90s-style highlight reels.

Good point. Clubs know our situation and are just waiting it out in order to negotiate cheap loans with cheap buy options at the end of the transfer window. It’s a toxic cycle than the club has been unable to get out of.

Agree with Dharnish on this, unfortunately. Been reluctant to criticize INEOS too much, mindful of what they inherited, hopeful things will pick up. But their performance thus far has been incoherent, indecisive and disappointing. Just consider this: - waiting for months

Excellent player and top signing for United. But more than a month wasted, only to end up paying pretty much what Brentford wanted to get all along. Now we must radically up the tempo on sales, to ble able improve the midfield.

“Hope is the power of being cheerful in circumstances that we know to be desperate.” –G.K. Chesterton Hope for United fans is the power of being cheerful in circumstances that we know to be irrational. And so every transfer window, whenever a new player is to be announced,

The execution was messy and the total fee ended up being quite high, but we are getting an excellent player who will help revitalize our final 3rd play. I remain hopeful that CM and WB are next on the list, though it seems the club are determined to buy a new CF and a new GK.

Last summer, United clearly decided that the cause of ETH’s abysmal defending was the quality of the defenders. So they went ahead and bought 3 new defenders to rectify the issue. But the issue, of course, was broader and much more complex than that. And it played out the only

Unless Amorim addresses some of the key issues with his system - both and out of possession - he won’t last long in the PL. Even vastly improved personnel, tailored for his game model, will be of modest importance.

I find it pretty unbelievable that nobody in United’s hiearchy had a sit down with Amorim to analyze some of the basic, easy-to-fix things that were hurting rather than helping the team achieve its goals (e.g. inverting the CB, going long from the GK), to make sure they were

Of course it’s only one game, very early in the pre-season etc. But we finished 15th and were unacceptably poor for most of it. It’s thus not an overreaction to point out that some of those same systematic flaws that led to 15th place are still on display. There’s plenty of

Manchester United could have a good, or even very good season, provided that: 🟢 the club sell well & recruit profiles that are urgently missing, especially in central midfield, but also WBs and CBs 🟢 Amorim fixes key isuses with our build up, progression to 2nd stage,
