Spending a week LBS to do some writing and start my thesis. Coming back to the place where the entire PhD began over 4 years ago. Hopefully (fingers crossed 🤞) I will be back here in the summer for the defense. #howmuchisthefish

This week looked a bit different. Doing some field work for Dr. Anne Duplouy which included some insect patch sampling and searching for some Ischnura elegans (seen below in an intimate embrace 😜) all over Åland. What a beautiful place to get to visit!

It's an incredible feeling meeting up in Helsinki which I know call home. I'm forever grateful for this connection kick-starting the idea and process of me ending up in Finland! One of the best days 🇫🇮
