InSDB25 is here! This yearās meeting will be held in Dec at IISER Berhampur as a joint meeting with the International Society of Differentiation. Weāve got an incredible lineup, and we canāt wait to share more details. Keep an eye out for more updates: insdb.in/events/insdb-iā¦

Fascinating in vivo tracking of collective cell migration under confinement PNASNews! Reveals self-organized antiparallel streams and compressive ECM deformation. Now wondering: How do single cells navigate these complex microenvironments? š¤ -LY www-pnas-org.libproxy1.nus.edu.sg/doi/10.1073/pnā¦

Iām delighted to share that I am starting as an Assistant Professor National Centre for Biological Sciences! Our lab will explore how mechanical forces shape organ architecture, regulate germ cell fate, and drive collective cell migration- using C. elegans as a model system.

Very excited to guest edit a thematic issue on 'Systems-Mechanobiology' with Mohit Kumar Jolly and Tanmay Lele. Mechanical properties are increasingly recognised as critical parts for the functioning of biological systems (and perturbed in diseases). Please submit your work in this area

š¢Excited to share our new paper in Nature Physics! How do single-celled organisms benefit from teamwork and behave like multicellular organisms? Paper: nature.com/articles/s4156⦠Interested? shekharlab.org

š¢ Preprint alert š¢ (1/6) Our work on 3D force inference for intestinal organoids is now on bioRxiv: biorxiv.org/content/10.110⦠Stunning collaboration between Oliver Drozdowski and Kim Boonekamp from the lab of Michael Boutros and with Ulrike Engel. A shortš§µ...
