Our paper shows that elimination of cervical cancer is not on track for Indigenous women around the world. Racialised health inequities and systemic failures to provide appropriate care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women must be addressed.

Solutions to this preventable health inequity need to be driven by Indigenous leadership and knowledge.
