Missed basketball so much, especially my Brooklyn Nets!! My brother and I repped Nets gear everywhere we went on our last pre-COVID family vacation. The world may have changed a lot since these pictures, but we stay Nets fans for life! #WearBrooklynAt YES Nets Truck YES Network

🔔 Early Warning 🔔 Too early to tell if it’s a significant trend, but the 3-day average of University Hospital’s inpatient + community test #COVID19 positivity rate is almost 3%, which would be a high since June. Please continue social distancing and wear masks, City of Newark!

We're doing many things in this pandemic to make ourselves feel better, but they may not make a real difference, such as frequent deep cleaning of surfaces. "There is really very skimpy evidence," Emanuel Goldman of Rutgers New Jersey Medical School tells me in this episode. Just wash your hands!

This year has demonstrated the need for coalition-building and greater investment in public health—and trust in science. All of us in public health must use this #Election2020 as an opportunity to recommit ourselves to action that advances health and equity. Let’s get to work!

Inspired by the power of #MedEd to advocate for our patients as they navigate their experience with chronic pain, particularly in the context of the ongoing #opioidcrisis. So excited to have seen this through from just an idea, with amazing mentorship and guidance!

Starting this week, we offer every patient we discharge from our beds a #COVID19 vaccine. This is possible because of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine supply that NJDOH and New Jersey secured. One shot makes this avenue for vaccination safe and effective. Onward to #HerdImmunity!
